Self-taught, one small lesson after another, until the first thing I built finally worked. It laid the foundation every system since has been built on.
Every system starts as an idea.
Then it meets production.
Full Stack Developer, backend-leaning. 5+ years.
Real-time systems, reporting at scale, platforms built end to end. I lead, review and mentor.
2018 · Buraimi, Oman
It started on a phone, with a friend's YouTube playlists: HTML, CSS, PHP.
I had about 100MB of mobile data a month.
So I downloaded the videos on a mall's free wifi.
Every MB counted.
…and that was the month.
One more bar. Please.

Closing time. Videos: saved.
Then I practised offline at home.
Very little connection. Enough to start.
Sometimes I dozed off… errr.
No internet. Still a website.

Client apps, their APIs and payment gateways. Among them Taama, a bus ticketing system, and Mostnear; and, freelance, Vet Care Plus.
APIs for an Android app: its payments, and a quiz game played live, wired up with sockets.
The primary frontend developer on a client's learning platform: its architecture from scratch, then courses, groups and admin, from Figma designs.
In Quore, a reporting product, reports over tables of up to millions of rows, some too slow to use and some whose filters failed. I rewrote their queries with composite indexes and fewer join hops.
Also, in a team of 4, a visual SQL query builder, delivered to beta.
Fintech, automotive, retail and international platforms, owning the technical solution design end to end.
A shopping centre's app, on iOS and Android: new features, and its move from an old backend vendor to a new one.
New features and bug fixes, on a learning platform in English, French, Spanish and Arabic.
A national automotive OEM's multi-tenant dealer platform. My part: its mobile app for vehicle registration and price appeals, and Amazon Textract reading IC and chassis numbers from uploads.
Earned wage access: pay worked out from attendance data, employer-set payroll cut-offs, and withdrawals through a payment gateway, guarded against duplicates.
A national automotive OEM's owner's manuals, every model, year by year: download the original PDF, or read it as web pages converted from it by a pipeline of its own, with interactive 360° hotspots. Live, and public.
A national automotive OEM sells its used cars to registered dealers, in live auctions and sealed tenders. Bids land on every dealer's screen at once, a late bid extends the countdown for that car only, and a dealer who drops out comes back already caught up.
A Laravel core with queues and notifications, a NestJS WebSocket gateway for the bidding, the dealer portal and the auction CMS, third-party payment processing that never counts a callback twice. I led the move of its pipelines to Azure DevOps and of staging to a new IIS server.
